Chef & Cook Team

Specializing in large group family style meals, Powderbird seeks to provide a personal and relaxed dining experience. As a member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for the creation, preparation, and enjoyment of our high elevation cuisine. If you are an independent individual that is looking to learn the inner workings of a small boutique kitchen with a view, this is a great opportunity for you.

Duties/Responsibilities

While providing superior service to our clients at all times:

Develop a comprehensive understanding of Powderbird food and beverage needs. Be willing to create menus while broadening and strengthening ones personal understanding of large group cooking. Be willing to work closely with Powderbird management and other food and beverage teammates to create simple and delicious client meals. Able to cater to the client’s needs including those with dietary restrictions. Individuals on this team will be responsible for shopping, prepping, and cooking client meals. Individuals should be passionate about working for a business that operates in the winter/mountain environment and should be prepared to perform other tasks as assigned.

Valued Skills

Powderbird is looking for intelligent, energetic individuals to join our team who have interest or experience in large group and family cooking fields. Individuals with past experience in guide and outfitter style cooking will excel. All members of the food and beverage team will need sufficient cooking, math, writing, and computer skills to manage client meals, in addition to a basic understanding of the skiing and snowboard industry.

Position Details: Seasonal Full-Time

Season Dates: Dec 15th-April 1st Annually

Salary Position w/Revolving Schedule 3-4 Days Per Week

Typical Hours: 6am-5:30pm

Meals: Breakfast & Apres Ski Dinner

Flight Crew

Specializing in small group helicopter skiing adventure, Powderbird strives to provide a personal and dependable skiing experience. As a member of our Flight Crew, you will be responsible for greeting incoming guests, handling daily helicopter logistics, and managing guest, employee, and aircraft safety. For those that are looking to learn or broaden their understanding of the aviation and safety components of the Heli-skiing industry, this is a great opportunity for you.

Duties/Responsibilities

While providing superior service to our clients at all times, crew members responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Managing guest safety from their time of arrival to their departure

Manage daily helicopter tasks such as Refueling, Aircraft Prep, Guest/Gear Loading & Unloading

Radio dispatch & communication for all day-to-day operations

Building maintenance and services

Snow removal

Guest Transportation

Ski & Snowboard Rental Setup

Equipment Maintenance

Powderbird is looking for intelligent, energetic, and hard-working individuals to join our team who have experience around helicopters or want to gain experience working around these fantastic machines. Individuals interested in the position, should possess clear communication skill and be knowledgeable of the ski and snowboard industry.

Sales Concierge

As a member of our Sales Concierge team, you will be responsible for creating guest experiences unlike any other. From initial client interaction to flight organization and logistics, our Sale Concierge team works together with our guests to create their ideal helicopter skiing trip. Duties/Responsibilities

While providing superior service to our clients at all times, team member responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Development of a comprehensive understanding of our products and services.

Development of a strong understanding of the reservation process

Provide positive and clear adventure information via phone, email, and personal interaction

Clearly and concisely manage client reservation

Manage daily flight and guest logistics

Assist in the management of sponsor relation, product inventory, guest events and daily operation.

Be willing to broaden and strengthen their accounting and organizational skills.

Valued Skills

Powderbird is looking for intelligent, energetic individuals to join our team who have experience in customer service, writing, business and communication fields. All concierges will need sufficient math, writing, and computer skills to manage client accounts, in addition to a firm understanding of the skiing and snowboard industry. Skills in organization programs including Excel, Mail, QuickBooks is preferred but not required.

Position Details: Seasonal Full-Time

Season Dates: November 15th-April 1st Annually

Hourly Position w/Revolving Schedule 5 Days Per Week

Please note that Powderbird can provide both full-time and part-time positions annually. Powderbird offers shift from 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 1pm-9pm daily.
