We have just finished our 9th heliski season in Greenland and conditions were fantastic!  With skiers and snowboarders from the United States, Russia and France it was a very diverse and exciting experience.  The next stop for Powderbird is South America with August and September trips planned to Chile and Argentina.  Please join us on one of our exotic expeditions to round out your heli ski experience.

End Of Season In Utah

We have recently finished our Utah operations and would like to thank everyone who skied with us this season in Utah's breathtaking back country.  It was as always great fun to ski with you.  We are currently enjoying our 9th heliski season in Greenland with fresh snow and good friends.

April Heli-Skiing in Greenland

With a few more weeks remaining in Utah operations, Powderbird is gearing up for the annual trip to Greenland. Multiple storms tracked through the United States earlier this winter and hit the western coast of Greenland head on. This early winter snow fall has made a great base for April heli-skiing, Powderbird has a few seats left during the week beginning April 12. Spring Time Heli-Skiing

The days are getting longer, the temperatures are climbing and although spring is in sight we still have great skiing conditions. Utah is known for getting epic spring dumps that make it feel more like the middle of winter than the beginning of spring. Nothing can compare to heli-skiing in the Wasatch on a bluebird day, coming back to the helipad for BBQ and a couple beers on the deck, basking in the sun and getting a little extra work in on that goggle tan of yours. Powderbird is Rolling in 2012

The storms have been stacking up and Powderbird is off and running. With our Utah operations beginning in late January we now have 20 fly days in and our clients are coming back with huge smiles on their faces. Mother Nature has been delivering us with a healthy dose of the "Greatest Snow on Earth", the terrain in American Fork, Mill Creek and the Northern Powder Circuit has been prime for laying down backcountry lines. Our new base facility at Canyons Resort is complete and we're getting great feedback from our clients.
